The Forever 8 team has been on both sides of the table, as entrepreneurs and investors. We know the challenges of trying to raise money, and understand the pitfalls of sourcing capital. Our mission is to use our capital to enable passionate entrepreneurs to accelerate their growth.
Our name, Forever 8, comes from the idea that we should all think and dream big, like we are forever 8 years old.
Paul began his career in investment banking and financial services, working for Salomon Brothers and Citigroup in New York and London, where he was involved in M&A and IPO transactions. Paul then ran a medium-sized family office, which was involved in private investments and small cap companies, at which time he held various positions on Boards and management teams of publicly listed companies.
Christopher Ferguson, Esq. began his career in private equity, serving as Founder of the Florio Group and CFO of the Cabot Marsh Corporation. Chris’ product development acumen is homegrown: his family’s company Ferguson Containers was launched in 1958 and is now part of Vinco Ventures (NASDAQ: BBIG). In Chris’ most recent role as CEO of Vinco Ventures, he advises and builds relationships with entrepreneurs, leveraging his experience across sectors to bring new products to life.
Max has spent his career working within finance and technology as both investor and builder. After graduation, he worked at Goldman Sachs as an analyst, before leading business development for a high growth fintech company. Most recently, Max was the European head of M&A for a small-cap software acquirer, managing the roll-up of multiple UK and Nordic software companies.
Carl spent much of his career working in investment banking and financial services across Asia and Europe. Former Global Head of Equity Sales at Mizuho Securities part of the Mizuho Financial Group, Carl left banking in 2019 to join a fast growth health-tech start-up based out of California where he experienced first-hand the difficulties faced by high-growth, inventory-heavy businesses needing access to growth capital. He speaks fluent Japanese and has an MBA from McGill University.
Quinn began his career in start-ups and technology at the age of 14 when he founded and exited an educational technology company. Most recently, Quinn worked for Vinco Ventures (NASDAQ: BBIG) focusing on investor relations and business development as the company expanded its focus into media and technology M&A. Previously, Quinn co-founded an insurance technology company and led its marketing operations and product development until its exit in 2019.
Hugh has extensive experience as a senior executive in roles ranging from acting CFO of a publicly-traded battery manufacturer to the CFO of West World Media, a private data aggregation company that was recently acquired for $60MM. Hugh began his career at GE Capital in their Structured Finance Group, where he oversaw over a billion dollars in infrastructure, energy, and communications investments. Hugh earned his B.S. in Finance from Penn State University and his MBA from Cornell University
